what is yoremade
A new approach
Yoremade is a historically inspired costume brand built to connect the reenactment, renaissance faire, LARP, and cosplay communities around the world. Our team of passionate designers researches historical depictions, artefacts, paintings, and effigies to shape every piece in the collection - bringing the past to life in a way that feels authentic without losing sight of who actually has to wear it.
Inspiration
Some Yoremade pieces draw directly from documented historical sources, while others are inspired by the romanticised vision of the Middle Ages that flourished in later centuries - the aesthetic that shaped so much of the fantasy and faire culture we love today. Every product description includes the inspiration behind each design, and we invite anyone who wants to dig deeper to read it.
Accessibility
To make Yoremade accessible to as many people as possible, our designs combine historical patterns with modern tailoring techniques. Materials are chosen for their quality, durability, and authentic look - built to hold up to frequent use while looking like they belong in another century.
Product range
A complete Yoremade costume starts from the skin out - undergarments, outerwear, accessories, footwear, and even 1.6mm steel armour, all designed to work together as a cohesive look. The collections are still growing, with new pieces arriving regularly, so if you don't see everything you're looking for just yet, check back soon - there's more on the way.
From Sketch to product
It’s been a long and intentional passion project. From research and material sourcing to sketches, prototypes, field testing, photoshoots, and production, our team has poured years of work into these collections that were started in 2022.

A passion project
years in the making
Yoremade by Epic Armoury has been years in the making. Since 2022, our designers have been collecting inspiration from paintings, illuminated manuscripts, and artefacts, as well as sourcing the right materials and trims to match their vision. The process took time, patience, and more than a few dead ends and rejected samples. Some designs went back to the drawing board more times than we'd like to admit.
Then came the actual production, the product descriptions, the Yoremade visual identity, the photoshoots, the video shoots, the stock distribution... Every department has worked relentlessly to bring this passion project to life.
The result is a collection where every piece has a story, and we can't wait for you to find yours!

what about color choices?
The medieval world is often imagined as drab and grey. The reality was far more vivid, and far more nuanced. The color of clothing shaped the social order of medieval Europe; it was a language, a legal declaration, and a ledger of wealth all at once. This is what we based our color choices for the Yoremade pieces on.
More to come...

A word of thanks
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Middelaldercentret Nykøbing Falster, Frederiksborg Castle and Sorø Klosterkirke for generously welcoming us and allowing us to photograph our new Yoremade collections in such extraordinary settings. The historic locations provided a truly inspiring backdrop, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to capture their beauty alongside our designs.
