Rich Landsknecht Shoe

If you really want to lean into that flamboyant, "don’t mess with me" Renaissance look, the Rich Landsknecht Shoe is the way to do it. Inspired by the late medieval and Renaissance period, specifically the Landsknechts, these shoes are all about making a statement. They have that iconic wide, slashed look that tells everyone you’ve seen some action and have the gold to show for it.

These are constructed from durable leather to withstand the rigors of extended events, while still being representative of the period in their design. The bright, red highlights showing through the black leather cuts create the authentic "Puff and Slash" effect delivered instantly; there is no need for you to add any form of stitching! Whether you want to complete the full Landsknecht look, or just a character with extra gold, these shoes will serve you well.

Although they belong in the 16th Century, we made sure that these sandals would fit today’s foot needs as well. The leather is strong and durable but also able to stretch/fit well after a few wearings. The flat bottom of the sandal provides the same look as an original with the added benefit of being useful when walking around camp or on cobblestones.
