Captain Cuirass - Light Kit

This cuirass carries the distinct, imperial design of the Captain series. It is a perfect centerpiece for officers or anyone playing a high-status character. Because it is made of durable polyurea, it will not rust or dent. You can forget about oiling or polishing it—this armor stays ready for the parade ground even after a long, muddy weekend.

Fit, adjustment & care

The strap system handles most sizing on its own, but for a closer fit, you can gently reshape the material itself using heat. Apply heat to the inside of the piece rather than the painted exterior, so the material becomes flexible without damaging the finish.

• Finish: The base material underneath the painted surface is black, so over time, scratches and general wear may reveal this black color underneath.

• Easy touch-ups: Minor cosmetic damage, such as scuffs or scratches can be simply repaired at home using a primer and acrylic hobby paints (such as Army Painter or Citadel).

• Leather care: The leather straps should be maintained like any other full-grain leather product, with occasional conditioning to keep them supple and long-lasting.

• A living finish: Wear and patina are a natural part of your armor's lifecycle and can be expected with regular use, adding to the authentic, battle-worn character of the piece.
