All of our LARP weapons are handmade and hand painted in order to meet the high quality that is our Epic Armoury standard. However, because of their handmade nature, these items can be produced with cosmetic faults. On the occasion where one of our hybrid RFB basic swords arrives with the wrong coloured paint or an imperfect shape, we offer it at a discounted price instead of throwing it away. We don't like to waste material--and you get a great deal!

About our Hybrid Ready For Battle Basic Swords

Epic Armoury's LARP Hybrid RFB Basic Sword collection includes styles perfect for a beginning or young LARPer. This range of basic 65cm-75cm blades was created to provide economical versions of our main Epic Armoury line, including such swords as our RFB Choppa--a smaller and simpler version of our full sized Choppa.

Our hybrid LARP swords are designed and constructed to be as safe as possible. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a thick latex coating. The tip is made using a strong kevlar core to protect against injury. The crossguard and handle are made from polyurethane foam, poured into a cast to give it the most detail--and it requires no maintenance. Thes handles are incredibly durable and comfortable to use.

When you order a 2nd Quality Hybrid RFB Basic Sword, you will receive a random hybrid RFB basic sword with an aesthetic imperfection. You may not choose the specific style, as we cannot guarantee which will be available. We DO guarantee that--whatever the design--the product is safe to use, despite its cosmetic faults.
