How Did Medieval Pants Change Over Time?

During the early Middle Ages, the vast majority of men wore nothing more than basic braies, their loose-fitting linen undergarments, usually coupled with some sort of legwear/hose over them. As the period progressed there was the introduction of fitted pants fashion and then Neoclassical tights that were more sculpted. In the late Middle Ages, the fitted hose became bench marked, typically made of wool and fitted to the leg, in some cases even attached to the doublet.
