Scout Torso Armour
Epic Armoury’s Scouts Torso Armour is a simple low-fantasy breastplate and backplate protecting the upper torso. The plates comes down to the waist, allowing for increased flexibility compared to a traditional breastplate. Both the front and back plates are made from 1 mm thick mild steel, and are secured with chrome tanned leather straps at the shoulders and around the ribs.
Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this steel riveted piece has been coated with two different finishes for you to choose the best fit for your character. Polished Steel finish is polished to a high-gloss to appeal to the knights in shining armor and the Epic Dark finish is more matte and darker in color, ideal for mercenaries and fighters who prefer to stay in the shadows. The Scouts Torso Armour is neutral in style. Wear it alone or with shoulder guards and a helmet of your choice, we definitely recommend a gambeson! We also offer this style in several sizes to help accommodate different body types, and it’s built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armor care.
